MLC is a private girls school based in Sydney, they have ~1300 students from pre K to year 13

The solution

A challenge that modern schools face is the need to maintain a high quality experience for parents while operating multiple digital systems that parents interact with, each having different levels of user experience. 

The goal of the MLC Omnia Parent Portal is to standardise and improve the parent experience, bringing information from multiple systems into one place with a bespoke user interface that delivers an easy to use and high quality parent experience.

The Omnia Parent Portal provides flexibility and adaptability to the School and as well as improving parent experience, it is aimed at simplifying and improving the process for school staff interacting with parents

Key functionality includes parents being able to:

  1. Review and approve excursion attendance
  2. Find information about co-curricular activities
  3. View their daughter's timetable
  4. Access academic reports
  5. Easily find contact information for key School staff
  6. Keep up to date on school notices and events

 

The result

The Omnia Parent Portal streamlines and improves the experience for parents interacting with the school.

It integrates with a number of systems, bringing information into one place, highlighting important tasks, and provides parents with easy access to relevant school information.
